Why are order numbers skipped?

In actuality order numbers are not skipped. If an order is declined it will not appear in a normal search.

You can see the order and the decline reason if you use the "Search My Orders" utility to search on "Failed Orders".

  1. Login to the cart.
  2. Go to "Order History".
  3. Click on "Search My Orders".
  4. Select "Failed Orders", or "All Attempts" as the status.
  5. Set an appropriate date range.
  6. Click "Search".
